This form may help if you are inviting someone to visit you in the UK from a country where visas are required and you are paying their costs. If your visitors have money of thier own don't use the form. Just write a letter inviting them to visit you. Say why you are inviting them. If they are staying with you make it clear there is room for them to do that. Include a copy of your own passport to show that you are a real person. They then make their own application to the embassy and will have to provide proof of their income and savings. There is more guidance on the UK Visas site.

This form, or something like it, needs to go the British Embassy or High Commission in the country where your visitors live. You can copy this form and alter it as necessary, or write a letter including the relevant information and send it to your visitors. The Embassy do not look at the form itself; they look at the information in it and look for proof of the information.
